
Get a man overboard back onto the deck
The Baltic SwedeBuoy Man Overboard Recovery System
comes with a lifebuoy and 30m of floating line. This system is all
contained in a storage bag with webbing straps and plastic buckles
to fasten to the pushpit. To deploy, open the cover, grab the
lifting strops and haul the loop out. The lifebuoy is fitted with
eight retro-reflective patches, all round grab handles and two
strong eyes to hoist the distressed back on board.
Instructions:
1. Open the cap and take out the buoy
2. Drop the lifebuoy over the stern
3. Pay out the safety line and circle around the distressed until
he catches the safety line
4. The distressed places the lifebuoy under his arms and holds
firmly on to the safety line
5. Pull the distressed to the boat
6. Repack the safety line ensuring that it will run freely
